The Riverton Kiwanis Club is excited to partner with Wyoming Health Fairs in hosting a Community Health & Wellness Fair. Wyoming Health Fairs will be offering blood draws beginning Thursday, April 29th - Saturday, May 1st in the Intertribal Building, Room 116 at Central Wyoming College. Appointments are required and can be scheduled at www.WHF.Health/Appointments. There are still slots available. The Eagles Hope Transitions Online Auction will be the 2021 fundraiser for the recently acquired emergency housing establishment, (The Homeless Shelter) and The Eagles Hope Transitional Housing facility. All auction item have been generously donated by local businesses, civic groups, church groups and individuals near and far. We have a large variety of items and plan for a very successful event to raise proceeds to keep this extremely important service available in Fremont County.
Historic Preservation Efforts in Riverton Wednesday, May 5 at 6pm The Historic Preservation Commission of Riverton will present this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program at the Riverton Museum on May 5 at 6pm. The presentation will focus on the history and stories about some of the most important and recognizable buildings and homes in Riverton and some of the preservation efforts being made to protect these buildings. This program is free and open to the public.

SMASH COVID! Saturday, June 12 Sutherlands Parking Lot, 1960 N. Federal Blvd. This fun family event will be held in the Sutherlands parking lot. A car donated by Federal Recycling will be decorated with pictures of the COVID virus. The community can smash the “COVID” Car with a bat! Safety measures will be taken so no one gets hurt. There will be a small fee per smash. All smashes benefit Help for Health Hospice. Food trucks, face painting and more activities in the works! Plan to come out and represent Help For Health and have a great time!

The Riverton Ambassadors meet on the 1st Thursday of every month at 5:30 PM at Riverton City Hall. Our next meeting will be May 6 .
