June 12-15, 2023 in Sheridan, Wyoming. The course and summit are free. Held at the Riverton Public Library, the film screening is free and welcome to all. The double feature will include the films Paris Is Burning, and Wildhood, and snacks will be provided!-----🩰MAIN STREET DANCE RECITAL: Tickets are on sale for our 19th annual dance recital "Someone To You". The shows will be Friday June 16th and Saturday June 17th at 6:00 p.m. You can order tickets online through Tututix.com or call 1-855-222-2849. Tickets will also be available at the door but will be limited seating the night of the shows. We are so excited to showcase our amazing dancers and hope to see everyone there!-----🥕RIVERTON FARMERS MARKETS! Support your local growers and producers! The Wednesday market is from 5-7:00 p.m. in Riverton City Park, and the Saturday market is from 9-11:00 a.m. in the Riverton City Hall parking lot.-----THE BALLOONS ARE COMING for the 43rd Riverton Rendezvous Balloon Rally this summer on July 14-15-16. The Rendezvous Balloon Committee is currently seeking sponsors for the balloons coming to Riverton! You can pick up these sponsorship information sheets and applications at Riverton City Hall or the new Riverton Chamber office in The Wind River Heritage Center on South Federal. Hope to see you there!-----🎃THE RIVERTON FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL is a huge annual event put on by the Riverton Downtowners, and there are some awesome activities, contests, and plans in the works If you are interested in volunteering on the FHF Committee this year (and having a blast while doing it), come to the August Riverton Downtowners meeting in August! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 9 at 6 p.m. (meeting location TBA). For updates, visit RivertonDowntowners.org-----CIRCLES USA FREMONT COUNTY: We are looking to start a Teen Parent or Expecting cohort to Circles. The intent is to offer Circles training to teen parents, as they oftentimes find themselves having to learn to adult quickly and they may not always have the support they need or maybe even unstable living situations. At the end of their training, they would be brought into the Circles class to develop relationships with older individuals for ongoing support and friendships. If you would be willing to share this information with anyone you feel could benefit from this program or anyone who might be interested, it would be greatly appreciated.

Appointments will also allow us to get more animals adopted out, if the times that we are open to the public do not work for you, a different time can be offered.
