POTLUCK DINNER AT FREMONT LOCAL MARKET

This Thursday, 27 April, Fremont Local Market will be hosting a potluck dinner.  Dinner is from 6-8, and the Market will be open for shopping or just browsing.  We’re hoping you will attend.

It should be a pretty informal affair, come as you are.  We have a couple speakers who will share developments in Wyoming’s Food Freedom Laws and other items of interest from this year’s legislative session:  Senator Tim Salazar and, with luck, Representative Pepper Ottman.  We will also hear from Mr. Mick Pryor who is the driving force in getting the Gold Back legal tender launched here in Riverton.   They will be open to your questions as well.

If you have any questions, please email Morgan and she’ll relay to me.  And if you feel a bit hesitant in bringing your dish, there should be enough to go around, so don’t let that stop you.

Fremont Local Market is located at 524 E. Main St.

Dear Herdshare Owners,

Just a few things:

 

Little farm update – we have 23 lambs and 13 calves on the ground with 2 more ewes and 6 cows left to deliver for the season. 

 

You are cordially invited to this year’s 2^nd Annual Herdshare Farm Party. 

The party will be May 21^st from 1-4pm. 

What to expect - lunch, farm tours, and a chance to see your animals at a family friendly event! 

Please RSVP as soon as you can so we can plan accordingly!

 

I will not be at the Riverton or Lander Farmers Market this week.

For the Riverton folks please schedule a time with me to collect your order on Saturday the 29th or Sunday the 30th (at Fremont Local Market).

For the Lander folks I can have someone deliver to the Lander farmers market from 1 to 3 pm at the VFW on Saturday the 29th.

We also recognize that this market relationship is not for everybody. If that’s the case with you, please let us know.
