The 4th and final quarter of this school year starts Monday, March 13th, and is a perfect time to give Spur Virtual Academy a try! 4th quarter enrollment is open now! This will be a great time for nervous beginners to give online, homeschooling a try! The last quarter of school will provide a 9 week trial opportunity to see if Spur, and its tremendous flexibility, is a good fit for your family.
In our ongoing efforts to make FCSD25 the heart of the community, Spur has been provided to you from Fremont County School District 25. It's our district's official, K-12 homeschool and online school partnership program, and it’s FREE!
With Spur, your kiddos will be homeschooled by you, with support from Mrs. Spradlin, a WY-certified teacher. Parents, you and your students are not alone! Mrs. Spradlin will grade all assignments with grade-level feedback, administer state testing, and even provide in-person tutoring sessions. Also, she is only a text or a zoom chat away, whenever you or your student gets stuck and needs help from home.
Our students graduate from a fully accredited program, earning a full high school diploma. They are college or military ready and have the same opportunity to earn the Hathaway Scholarship as our in-person students.
Spur students are district-registered students, and can participate in all school sports, clubs, and activities. 6th-12th graders can even join the choir or band and perform in the concerts! The high schoolers who join the band will march in parades, go on band trips, and be part of the halftime show for hometown football games. Students can go to dances, book fairs, join Speech and Debate Club, Key Club etc, go to Homecoming and PROM!
