Haunted Walking Tour of Riverton Saturday, October 16 at 5:30 Riverton Museum Alma Law will be leading his annual haunted walking tour of downtown Riverton. Admission for the tour is $10. The tour will leave the museum at 5:30pm and will last approximately 2 hours. Warm coats and walking shoes are recommended.

The Riverton Museum Pumpkin Trail The Riverton Museum will be hosting its second Pumpkin Trail around the museum with carved pumpkins donated from businesses and organizations in Riverton on Saturday, October 16 at 5pm. The pumpkins will be lit at dusk. The event will conclude at 8:00pm. Admission is free. Hot chocolate and popcorn will be available with a donation. Additionally, the museum will be offering a haunted walking tour of Riverton with Alma Law. Admission for the tour is $10. The tour will leave the museum at 5:30pm and will last approximately 2 hours.   Donor Information: Pumpkins can be carved or otherwise decorated, but will be displayed outside at night. Candles will be provided by the museum for carved pumpkins. All decorations and carvings must be family-friendly. With a donation of five or more pumpkins, you may also provide a sign advertizing your business to go along with your display.   Drop Off: You can drop off your five (or more) pumpkins/display items between 8am and 5pm on Friday, October 15 or between 8am and 3pm on Saturday, October 16. Event: The event will begin at 5pm on Saturday, October 16th. The museum will be providing candles and will begin lighting the pumpkins at dusk and they will stay lit until 8pm. Pick Up: You may pick up your pumpkins/display items immediately following the conclusion of the event on Saturday, between 8am and 5pm on Monday, October 18, or between 8am and noon on Tuesday, October 19. Any pumpkins/display items not collected by noon on Tuesday will be thrown away. If you have any questions about donating pumpkins, please contact the Riverton Museum at (307) 856-2665 or by email at: rmsitemanager@fremontcountymuseums.com. UPDATE: "We will be at Bar 10 tonight to decorate pumpkins! Pumpkins and tools will be provided. Come have fun!! The pumpkins will be there at 4:00PM, so come anytime! The pumpkins will be donated to the Riverton Museum for the Pumpkin Trail that takes place Saturday night. Hope to see you there!!"

Riverton Ambassadors Update We had a great meeting last night, with the representation of several groups and organizations for the upcoming Riverton Holiday Festival events and activities. These flags take a lot of time to put up for Main Street businesses and our community to enjoy, so please consider this as a wonderful opportunity to spend a few hours in service to Riverton!
