The Riverton Museum Pumpkin Trail
The Riverton Museum will be hosting its second Pumpkin Trail around the museum with carved pumpkins donated from businesses and organizations in Riverton on Saturday, October 16 at 5pm. The pumpkins will be lit at dusk. The event will conclude at 8:00pm. Admission is free. Hot chocolate and popcorn will be available with a donation. Additionally, the museum will be offering a haunted walking tour of Riverton with Alma Law. Admission for the tour is $10. The tour will leave the museum at 5:30pm and will last approximately 2 hours. Donor Information: Pumpkins can be carved or otherwise decorated, but will be displayed outside at night. Candles will be provided by the museum for carved pumpkins. All decorations and carvings must be family-friendly. With a donation of five or more pumpkins, you may also provide a sign advertizing your business to go along with your display. Drop Off: You can drop off your five (or more) pumpkins/display items between 8am and 5pm on Friday, October 15 or between 8am and 3pm on Saturday, October 16. Event: The event will begin at 5pm on Saturday, October 16th. The museum will be providing candles and will begin lighting the pumpkins at dusk and they will stay lit until 8pm.
Pick Up: You may pick up your pumpkins/display items immediately following the conclusion of the event on Saturday, between 8am and 5pm on Monday, October 18, or between 8am and noon on Tuesday, October 19. Any pumpkins/display items not collected by noon on Tuesday will be thrown away.
