RIVERTON KIWANIS: SPONSORS & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The "Sleep in Heavenly Peace Build Day" is quickly approaching and we need YOU! The Riverton Kiwanis Club has partnered with Sleep In Heavenly Peace - a volunteer organization that builds beds for kids that are sleeping on the floor - and will be hosting a build day on Saturday, August 14th from 8:00 am-11:00 am at Riverton City Park. We are in need of event sponsors (corporate and individual) and 45 volunteers to make this a successful event. Building skills are not a requirement to participate. If you have a desire to serve, we will put you to work. We have already delivered a large number of beds to children in Riverton. However, the need is large! The Riverton Ambassadors meet on the 1st Thursday of every month at 5:30 PM in the Bull Pen at Riverton City Hall. Our next meeting will be August 5.
